Acrylic on canvas, 16.5” x 22.5”, March 2012
I happened to remember a fallen pot with its damaged plant, in our courtyard, years later, when I was going through a rough patch in life. I imagined a sapling slowly growing out through the drain hole, and blooming. I felt the unstoppable force of life. This painting has been an inspiration to me, to push life forward irrespective of the seeming difficulties of existence.
